By accessing or using opennotepad, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using our service.

2. Description of Service

opennotepad is a simple writing and journaling web application that allows users to write notes, schedule reminders, and optionally receive reminders through Slack.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree not to misuse the service, disrupt its functionality, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.

4. Data & Privacy

We store minimal information necessary to operate the service, including notes, reminders, and Slack integration data (if enabled). Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.

5. Slack Integration

If you choose to connect Slack, opennotepad will store your Slack user ID and access token to deliver reminders. You may revoke access at any time from Slack or your opennotepad account.

6. Account & Data Deletion

You may request full deletion of your data by contacting us at hello@opennotepad.app. All data will be permanently deleted within 24–48 hours.

7. Limitation of Liability

opennotepad is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any losses or damages arising from service use, downtime, or missed reminders.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
